Annual Child Support Conferences
Announcing The Office of Child Support Services
4th Annual Child Support Conference entitled
“Child Support: Making a Difference”
The mission of the Child Support program is to enhance the well being of children by assuring that assistance in obtaining support, including financial and medical, is available to children through locating parents, establishing paternity, establishing support obligations and monitoring and enforcing those obligations.
OCSS is rising to the challenge of meeting our core mission during this difficult fiscal climate through reengineering of the workflow, redistribution of caseloads, making use of increased automation and the implementation of innovative new methods. OCSS continues to offer a safety net for families to maintain self- sufficiency. OCSS is proud that for federal fiscal year 2007, OCSS collected $76.5 million dollars, $58.5 million of which went directly to families.
