Welcome to the Office of Child Support Services. Our goal is to help you with your child support case. But we cannot be successful alone. We need your help. That is why we have developed this Web site to help you better understand the child support process so that you can help us with your case. Please take some time to review the information on this Web site.
We hope the information here will help you find your way along the child support road. Keep in mind: Child support is more than just money. It is the responsibility of each parent — both mother and father — to make sure their child has enough food to eat, clothes to wear and a safe place to live. Still, some children do not get the support they need. Regardless of their living situation or relationship, both parents should provide the financial and emotional support a child needs to grow into a responsible adult. Rhode Island's child support program can help.
If you have any questions about either your case or the child support process, please contact our office and access the voice response system to obtain information about your case or speak to a child support agent. Our caseworkers meet with visitors during office hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 p.m by appointment only.
We look forward to working in partnership with you so that your child may receive the support he or she is entitled to.
Sincerely,
Sharon A Santilli, Esq.
